JoggingBudd.com founder and CEO launches new campaign to keep 1m pairs of running shoes out of landfill.
So, it's quite simple really. We want as many people as possible to get more active and I think we are doing a great job with that on JoggingBuddy.com
“What we don't want to do inadvertently create another problem. There are so many running shoes with so much life left in them going into landfill, and that can't be right while there is so much need for them around the world”
So, I am leading this worldwide campaign to recycle old running shoes. All you have to do is send them to me, we will do the rest.
Keep good running shoes out of landfill
There are in the region of 18bn pairs of running shoes sold every year! that is more than 2 pairs per person on the planet. We estimate that around 33m pairs find their way into landfill every year!
We can do something about that, surely. So here is my plea to you. Just send us the running shoes, tie the laces up together, put them in a bag or box and send it to us. We will take care of the rest.
