JogOn is delighted to report our largest single collection yet! over 1,200 pairs of running shoes were collected over a single weekend at the 2023 National Running Show.
The two day show, hosted at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, was a huge success with record number of visitors attending. Working in partnership with the event organisers Raccoon Media Group who worked tirelessly to get the message out to visitors to bring their old unwanted running shoes, we were able to divert and remove record number of unwanted running shoes from landfill.
Tony Piedade, Founder said "It was an amazing event made all the better by meeting the hundreds of people who turned up to donate their unwanted running shoes. It was so heartwarming to hear the many personal stories of runners and their running shoes. I want to thank the organisers, but most importantly all those who took the time to drop off their unwanted running shoes."
For anyone that visited but forgot to bring their shoes, please remember that you can send them to us for as little as £2.00. Visit: Send us your unwanted running shoes

What stood out to me is that this wasn't just a running event—it became a successful recycling effort. Collecting over 1,200 pairs of unwanted shoes shows how small actions can make a meaningful environmental impact. Scary Games create a similar sense of reward, where every discovery and decision helps players move closer to their goal.
Thanks for sharing this. The topic is explained in a way that feels natural and easy to understand. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to learn much when I opened this page, but I ended up reading the whole thing. A lot of websites publish similar topics, but very few manage to make them feel practical and relevant. One of the resources that gave me a similar impression was https://101pryvitannia.com/, mainly because of its practical and easy-to-follow content. That same emphasis on clarity and usefulness is something I always look for when reading online. I found this genuinely helpful and informative. Keep up the great work.
This initiative is truly commendable, and it's great to see such a large number of shoes being collected to keep them out of landfills. For more information on how to contribute or learn about similar events, check out scritchy scratchy.

This is such a heartwarming initiative! Over 1,200 pairs of running shoes diverted from landfill in one weekend is incredible. For anyone building a website to promote similar causes, I highly recommend for creating beautiful CSS backgrounds.
